Christopher Alan Legg, of Houston, Texas passed away on the 24th of August at the age of 58. Chris was born on the 23rd of May in 1960 in Charleston, Illinois to Darrel Earl Legg and Josephine Ann Hummel.   Chris was married to Lorrie Jean Legg on the 10th of May in 1986. Chris graduated from SFA with a degree in the field of geology. Chris lead a distinguished and loyal career of 35 years as a Geophysicist for BP. Above all else, he worked to provide for his loving family who he cherished spending time with. His smile, positive outlook on life, and love of music will always be remembered. Chris is survived by his wife Lorrie, his daughter Brieann Christine and husband Michelangelo DeLeon, and son Aaron Christopher.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway Chapel, in Katy. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Holy Covenant United Methodist Church in Katy, with Rev. Fred Willis officiating. Interment in Klein Memorial Park Cy-Fair Cemetery.
