Our precious husband, father, PaDaddy, PawPaw, brother, and friend left us to meet his heavenly Father on Tuesday morning, 11/10/20. We are heartbroken beyond measure. He was so active in all 5 of his children lives, and this continued as much as he could into our 9 grandchildren's lives. He was born in Minden, Louisiana to Jack Wesley Rush and MaryNan McBride, August 13th 1946. Rick was President of his fraternity Phi Delta Theta @ Stephen F Austin University. He came home to take on the family business that his father started in 1956, Hudson Rush Company. Our precious Rick suffered from Lewy Body Dementia with parkinsonism. We need more research and study on this dreadful disease! He has left behind his wife Sharon Marshall Rush, children Kyle Rush his wife Julie and their children Olivia and Beckett. Daughter Robin Craft husband David their children Reagan, Robert, Becca and Brenna. Son Ryan Oldreive wife Kristin children Austin and Mason. Daughter Holly Schroeder and husband Doug. This hurts. Rick was a great friend in college and in the later years we had several conversations about his health. I haven't communicated with him in several months, but I assumed he was not doing well. I am very sad to hear of his death. I hope his family is OK.

Rick is the epitome of a Phi. He makes me proud to be one. I am grateful to have been his brother.

I totally agree with Stu, Rick was a true gentleman. A quite guy, but one can always count on him! Always -YITB Bill Konrad
