We were in the same pledge class; he's the brother I never had; the mentor and disciple I needed; the source of light that rescued me from darkness; and the person who led me to the glorious life I've had with Jesus Christ and life eternal with our Heavenly Father. I will miss him until the day we meet face to face in our Heavenly home.

Rusty was a true Texas son, spouse, and father. He was a godly man. We reconnected a couple of years ago and enjoyed sharing our life stories and discussing how God had changed our lives. It seemed ironical that we both ended up going to seminary and loved sharing the gospel of Jesus.
He will be dearly missed. Let's all join as brothers to celebrate his life and pray for his loved ones left behind in grief. Because of Rusty's decision to follow Christ, his family and friends can be consoled in the knowledge that Rusty is now in glory with his Lord and Savior.
See ya soon, brother.
In the name of Jesus,
