A Celebration of Life service for Steve Randall “Randy” Rose, 62, of Longview will be held in the Welch Chapel with Dennis Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Randy passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. S. Randy Rose was born November 16, 1952 in Longview to J. B. and Pauline Rose. He grew up in Longview and graduated from Longview High School, Class of 1971. Randy earned his accounting degree from Stephen F. Austin University in 1975 and practiced accounting for 40 years. He was an active member of Longview AMBUCS and the Knights of Pythias Lodge. Randy was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and dear friend. He was loved by all. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Pauline Rose; his brother, James “Eddie” Rose; and his sister, Sue Cameron Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Linda; daughter, Katherine Marie Rose; and partner, Anna Boggs of Austin; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Mike Bills of White Oak; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vincent and Barbara Meinzer; Margie Rosson and Mark R. Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to AMBUCS of Longview.
