CHARLES GRANT FLOYD, a native of Houston, Texas, passed away at his Houston home earlier this month. Charles was born on the 20th of August 1956. He attended Stephen F. Austin University and then pursued a career in real estate, specializing in ranch estate brokerage. After several years playing rugby, Charles turned his extracurricular energy towards a successful nutrition/supplement business, volunteer work (including assistance to victims of hurricane Katrina), and caring for his grandmother, the late Mrs. Doris Gribble. Throughout this time, Charles continued to share his passion for the outdoors and hunting with friends. Charles is survived by his father, Robert Charles Floyd, of Houston; his sisters, Elizabeth (Zeba) Floyd and Kathryn Allyson Floyd of Washington, D.C. and New York City, respectively. A private memorial service will be held for the family.
