Terry Brown, 77, of Flint, Texas passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, surrounded by love.

Terry was the son of the late Marshall and Virginia Brown. Wonderful parents who raised a wonderful son. Terry was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He had many friends from his Nacogdoches days during High School and “The Glory Days,” as he called them at SFA.

He had many accomplishments in his life at SFA, Nacogdoches and beyond. Basketball and Golf were his greatest athletic accomplishments as his father was his Basketball coach at SFA. His greatest accomplishment was holding the title of “Greatest Grandpa” to his seven grandchildren. He was truly one of the BEST! He loved spending time with all of them. He had a unique and special bond with each one.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Marshall Brown, his mother Virginia Brown, and his sister Rosemary Bates.

Terry is survived by his loving wife Jackie, son, Mitch and wife Ivy; daughter, Toni and fiancé Dusty; his son Casey, and wife Andrea; with special mention of Ben, Brent and Amy; his seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Brooks, Carson, Layla, Scarlett, Violett and Locklynn; and many loving cousins in the Whitehouse area on “The Brown Homestead.”

As Terry finished his earthly journey the words of the Apostle Paul beautifully reflect the life he lived:

I have fought the good fight,

I have finished the race,

I have kept the faith! 2 Timothy 4:7
