William Michael (Mike) Harber Age 76 - Dallas, Texas Date of Death: July 4, 2025 - tragically lost in the Kerr County floods along with his wife, Charlene Cravotta Harber, and granddaughters Blair and Brooke Harber. Mike and his wife Charlene had been enjoying a peaceful Fourth of July weekend at their vacation home near the Guadalupe River when the sudden deluge engulfed the area. Mike was known for his witty personality, his famous pralines, and delicious pies. Survived by: Son R.J. Harber, daughter-in-law Annie, daughter Jennifer Harber, brother Greg Harber, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Mike's wife, Charlene Cravotta Harber, who perished alongside him, granddaughters Blair and Brooke Harber, father Durwood Harber, and mother Peggy Harber. Mike's warm presence and steady heart enriched his family and friends. He continued to have close relationships with high school and college friends, often meeting weekly for lunches. Funeral service and reception will be held at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas Saturday July 26, 2025, at 2pm.
